All boats require regular maintenance which we are happy to provide. Beyond this however, the marine environment and the extreme conditions present in boating cause things to breakdown at the most inopportune time. Usually this leads to lost time on the water. Small Repairs

 

The last thing you want to say when getting ready for a day on the water, “well folks we have a problem”. This is when you realize that sometimes things just stop working, sometimes they just break. Sometimes its the boat owners fault, other times its just mother nature. Dont panic, we are here to help. Small problems are common on boats. Simple things like the motor wont start, or the alternator is shot, a belt broke, a fuel, air or water problem is present. Maybe a sail is stuck, your rigging is having a problem, your navigation system is off-line. This stuff just seems to happen and we are happy to take care of these small items for you. In addition to repairs we specialize in custom modifications additions and alterations. Big projects or small we can help. Large Projects
 

Best Times: December - May.



 Riverside Marina in conjunction with Pelican Island Marina (Seaside Heights) can plan and execute larger repairs at a discount during the winter. Depending on your storage needs, we can work outdoors or in a climate controlled environment. Larger projects would be defined as:

  • Complete repower (Engine or Generator)

  • Running Gear Removal/Replacement/Repair

  • Electronic Upgrades/installation

  • Custom cabinetry design and installation

  • Significant bottom work

  • Structural fiberglass or wood repairs to hull or deck

  • Navigation upgrades

  • Canvas work Softgoods upgrades

  • Water system repairs and upgrades

  • Underwater lighting installation

  • Custom fabrication

  • Hull extensions/modifications

 

These are just examples of projects that you may wish to consider during the off season.
